I grew up on a picturesque isle called Reunion Island, a melting pot of cultures, and a model of tolerance in the midst of lush greenery, surrounded by turquoise waters. Why would I ever leave such a place, you may wonder!

I’ve been watching an entrepreneur in action all my life, my father. Growing up, I realized the meaning of commitment through watching him build his venture, and the idea of following in his footsteps was ingrained in me early-on. He still remains one of my top role-models when it comes to resilience.

After graduating from the LSE, I worked for J.P. Morgan’s Investment Banking division where I had the chance to work closely with large corporations and startups, and understand how they operate from a financial perspective. Yet I yearned for more exposure and skin in the game.

The weather in Saudi Arabia is great. I know this is an unpopular opinion, but I savor the scorching heat of Riyadh in Summer time.

As a nature-lover and avid hiker, I enjoy spending time outdoors and exploring different destinations. I’m always on the lookout for thrilling hiking spots, would you happen to know any?

STV is a partnership, with humans at its core. I am grateful to be part of a down-to-earth yet ambitious team that values every member’s contribution, and empowerment through a culture of ownership.

Every single person I am surrounded with has something to teach me. Collaborating on a daily basis with investors, technologists, consultants, experts, and a breadth of driven entrepreneurs, I never stop learning at STV.

Investing in a startup is similar to tying the knot. Your investment process should be as diligent as you can: first and foremost build conviction from data, then listen to your heart, and remember you’ll grow together.

I have always seen competition as exciting. I believe it is a great test to assess someone’s passion as it pushes the steadfast one to go the extra-mile.

I always remind myself to focus on what’s really important in life. Your most precious capital is time, and you should realize it is quickly running out.

An inspiring verse that truly resonates with me:

{ وَأَوْفُوا۟ ٱلْكَيْلَ إِذَا كِلْتُمْ وَزِنُوا۟ بِٱلْقِسْطَاسِ ٱلْمُسْتَقِيمِ ۚ ذَٰلِكَ خَيْرٌۭ وَأَحْسَنُ تَأْوِيلًۭا }

سورة الإسراء آية ٣٥

{ And give full measure when you measure, and weigh with an even balance. That is the best [way] and best in result. }

Quran 17:35
